CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services Units of Competency

The CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services Resource package offers a diverse range of training materials, including learner resources and assessment tools for all 20 units of competency, with 12 core units and 8 elective units. You have the flexibility to personalise your training program by selecting from the variety of elective units provided below. Please note that while selecting your elective units, you must choose 6 units from Group A, B, C, D or E. Once you have selected the mandatory units, you may choose 2 from the list of elective units to complete the package.

Electives may be packaged to provide a qualification with a specialisation.

Packaging for each specialisation:

  • at least 4 Group A electives must be selected for the award of Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)
  • at least 3 Group C electives must be selected for award of the Diploma of Community Services (Child, Youth and Family Welfare)
  • at least 3 Group D electives must be selected for award of the Diploma of Community Services (Responding to Family Violence)
